The text below provides you with an explanation of what cookies are and how they are used. You should read it before you decide whether you accept cookies or not.

Almost all websites use cookies. In fact, some websites will not work properly without them.

A cookie is a file which is downloaded onto your PC or other device when you visit a website. It makes it possible for the site to remember your computer and collect information about the sites and services you have visited with the browser on your computer.

Cookies cannot see who you are, what your name is, where you live or whether just one person or more use the computer. Nor can it spread computer viruses or other malware.

All Danish websites are required to inform users about their use of cookies.

The information they are required to provide is regulated in the following Danish executive order:

Executive order no. 1148 of 9 December 2011 on the requirements for information and consent in connection with the storing of and access to information on the end user's terminal device (Danish title: 'Bekendtgørelse nr. 1148 af 9. december 2011 om krav til information og samtykke ved lagring af og adgang til oplysninger i slutbrugeres terminaludstyr')

The executive order is part of an EU directive concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in electronic communication.
