Price development

The Danish Health and Medicines Authority monitors the price development in two ways:

Real prices in the last 5 years

An Excel file is available in Danish with information about medicine prices per package of medicine in the last 5 years (the file is downloadable on the Danish page 'Priser de seneste fem år').

Price indices

We calculate two different pharmaceutical price indices. One tracks the price of DDD groups, the other tracks the price per package (see Price indices in the menu to the left).
