Great place to work
strategic benchmarkFocus area 1
We are a great place to work with psychological safety at our core.
Focus area 2
We are a sustainable workplace with flexibility and growth opportunities.
The right employee and management resources and the ability to fill positions are crucial for the DKMA’s ongoing capacity to maintain a high professional standard in the performance of our core and development tasks. Society is currently experiencing relatively fierce competition for employees in the specific fields where the DKMA operates.
We must therefore both present and brand ourselves as a sustainable and flexible workplace with unique growth opportunities, internal mobility and possibilities of secondment. We must focus on growth opportunities for our employees and experiment with new ways of developing professional skills, leadership and well-being across the organisation.
Psychological well-being is essential to both our internal and external collaboration. The initiatives we have already started in this area must continue and be naturally integrated as we develop further. We must make room for everyone regardless of, for example, gender, age, education, religion and cultural background. We must include and offer opportunities to new graduates and to employees coming closer to retirement and to those who require special conditions while working. We must be a trusting and safe workplace, where all managers and employees may express themselves, professionally and socially, and where employees and managers alike enjoy coming to work.
Saying that we want to be a sustainable workplace not only means taking care of our employees and managers and creating a healthy and balanced work situation. We also want to increase our focus on the climate and the environment. We will therefore continue the ongoing work towards sustainable solutions at the workplace while attempting to sway the health agenda towards sustainability.
We believe we can stand out in some of the above-mentioned areas amid the intense competition for qualified employees and managers – a competition in which we participate alongside the industry and the sector in general. We must therefore bring our assets into play and focus on the recruitment process specifically so that we may continue to attract skilled and motivated employees and managers.
We will let this benchmark guide us towards fulfilling the following two focus areas in 2026:
- We are a fantastic place to work founded on psychological safety
- We are a sustainable workplace with flexibility and growth opportunities
