Notification of changes in medicine prices and product ranges between Christmas and New Year 2024, as well as access to preliminary information for subscribers to Erhverv Medicinpriser

The Danish Medicines Agency will be closed between Christmas and New Year.

This means there will be no support available regarding the notification of changes to medicine prices and assortments from Tuesday, 24 December 2024, until and including 1 January 2025. Support will be available as usual on Monday 23 December, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM by phone at +45 44 88 96 94 and email to medicinpriser@dkma.dk.

The notification deadlines are unchanged.

Notifications can be made from Monday 9 December 2024, after 8:00 PM until Monday, 23 December 2024, before 8:00 PM. If notifications are accepted, they will enter into force on Monday, 6 January 2025.

As the Danish Medicines Agency will be closed on 26 December 2024, an exemption will be made from the rules in section 9, subsection 1, of the Medicines Price Executive Order.

As a result, preliminary information on price and assortment changes will only be available to subscribers of Erhverv Medicinpriser late in the afternoon on Friday 27 December 2024.
