Danish Medicines Agency closed over Christmas and New Year

The Danish Medicines Agency will be closed over Christmas and New Year, from Wednesday 24 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026, both days included.

Any physical and digital post sent to the Danish Medicines Agency will not be read during this period.

Applications for compassionate use permits on weekdays between Christmas and New Year

During this period, we will, however, handle urgent applications for compassionate use permits (applications for dispensing of non-marketed medicines).

Doctors, dentists or veterinarians can send electronic applications by means of their MitID employee signature or scanned and signed by email to udleveringstilladelser@dkma.dk. marking the application URGENT.

We will also be answering questions about compassionate use permits by telephone on +45 4488 9653 or by email to udleveringstilladelser@dkma.dk on 29 and 30 December 2025, 10:00 to 15:00.
