National steering group for HTA regulation

The national steering group functions as a decision-making and cooperation body for Danish participation in European cooperation and the Danish implementation of the regulation.

The primary tasks of the steering group are as follows:

• To coordinate a common Danish position in the European cooperation
• To coordinate the national level of ambition for Danish participation in the joint clinical assessments and scientific consultations to be carried out under HTA regulation from 2025

Members of the steering group

The steering group members and observers are as follows.

Members:

• The Danish Medicines Agency (Chair)
• The Danish Medicines Council (appointed by the Danish Regions)
• The Treatment Council (appointed by the Danish Regions)
• The Danish Health Authority

Observers:

• The Ministry of the Interior and Health
• The Danish Regions

The steering group has a rotating chairmanship of six months. In the first half of 2025, the Danish Medicines Agency will chair the steering group.

The steering group secretariat is located in the Danish Medicines Agency.

In 2025, steering group meetings are planned throughout the year.
