Rules for the publication of financial support

The Danish Medicines Agency publishes information about healthcare professionals receiving financial support to participate in professionally relevant activities abroad subject to section 202(c) of the Danish Health Act.

The published information about persons receiving the support consists of the person's name, profession, trading address (primary workplace) as well as health professionals’ registration ID, if any. Information about the companies granting the support and the supported activities is also published.

The specific rules on publication of information on healthcare professionals and specialists who have notified us about financial support to participate in a professionally relevant activity abroad are laid down in the Danish executive order no. 1153 of 22 October 2014 on advertising for medicinal products, etc. as well as the Danish executive order no. 1155 of 22 October 2014 on advertising etc. of medical devices (in Danish only).
