Medicine Prices and Product Range Around Christmas and New Year 2026/2027

There will be changes to support services and the publication of medicine price and product range data over the Christmas and New Year period. Below are the key dates and deadlines for this period.

Notification of Price and Product Range Changes

The submission deadlines remain unchanged. Price and product range changes can be submitted from Monday, 7 December 2026, after 8:00 p.m. until Monday, 21 December 2026, before 8:00 p.m.

Approved submissions will take effect on Monday, 4 January 2027.

Support During Christmas and New Year

The Danish Medicines Agency will be closed from Thursday, 24 December 2026, through Friday, 1 January 2027, inclusive. No support will therefore be available for submissions of price and product range changes during this period.

The last day of normal support will be Monday, 21 December, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Support can be contacted by telephone on +45 44 88 96 94 or by email.

Limited support will be available on Tuesday, 22 December, and Wednesday, 23 December, while submitted price and product range data are being processed.

Deadline for Deregistrations in 2026

If a deregistration must be completed before 1 January 2027, it must take effect no later than Monday, 21 December 2026. Deregistrations can be submitted via DKMAnet from Monday, 23 November 2026, after 8:00 p.m. until Monday, 7 December 2026, before 8:00 p.m.

This ensures that the deregistrations can take effect before 1 January 2027, avoiding the annual fee for 2027.

Publication of Data on 23 December

As the Danish Medicines Agency will be closed on 24 and 25 December, preliminary information for subscribers to Erhverv Medicinpriser will be made available during the day on Wednesday, 23 December 2026.

The same applies to the preliminary ABC classification, which will be released to companies via DKMAnet.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to specify the exact time at which the information will be released.

Medicine Prices in 2027

The medicine price period will remain 14 days in 2027, even though the calendar year will have 53 weeks.

This means that:

• Medicine price periods in 2027 will begin on Mondays in odd-numbered weeks.
• Subscribers will be able to access the new information in Medicinpriser from 6:00 p.m. on the last working day before the new price period begins.

Companies should therefore be aware of the changes to week numbering and adjust their price submissions for 2027 accordingly.
