Assessment times for individual reimbursement

Single reimbursement

The case handling time for uncomplicated applications, which constitute the vast majority, is approximately two weeks.

The case handling time for applications requiring further information from the applying doctor and/or which have to be presented to the Reimbursement Committee is approximately two months.

Reimbursement for the terminally ill

All individual reimbursements that have been granted are shown in the Central Reimbursement Register where pharmacies can look them up. The case handling time never exceeds two days.

Increased reimbursement

The case handling time is approximately two weeks for applications that do not require further information from the applying doctor.
