Notification of Supply Failure of Medicines and Cannabis Intermediate Products

Pharmaceutical wholesalers must notify the Danish Medicines Agency if they are unable to supply product numbers listed in the current list of prices etc. of medicines ('Medicine Prices').
We use this information to set new reimbursement prices for reimbursement groups where the cheapest medicine or cannabis intermediate product is unavailable. This proces takes place on a daily basis.
How to report a supply failure
Wholesalers must notify the Danish Medicines Agency of supply failure by submitting an XML file. An example of the required XML file is available (in Danish only).
The XML file must be sent by email to Send an email before 12:00 noon on business days.
