Use a secure connection to contact us
If you need to send personal data, such as health data, to the Danish Medicines Agency, we advise you to use a secure connection. If you are a company sending confidential information, we advise you to do the same.
Standard email is not secure.
Find out which channels to use below.
Digital post
If you need to send information or make an enquiry to the Danish Medicines Agency but no suitable form is available, we advise you to use digital post instead.
To send digital post, you will need to log into e-Boks. At the top click on ‘Write new mail to public authority’. Click in the recipient field and enter/search for ‘Lægemiddelstyrelsen’ and select ‘Lægemiddelstyrelsens hovedpostkasse’. You can then write to us.
Secure (encrypted) form
To use the Danish Medicines Agency’s secure (encrypted) form, you must either use a digital employee signature or a private MitID code viewer.

Eudralex for companies
We recommend that pharmaceutical companies use EudraLink to send and receive confidential documents. This is a good solution because the sender and recipient do not need to have a digital signature associated with their email accounts.

Secure (encrypted) emails
If you are a tunnelmail certified authority or organisation, the emails you send to the Danish Medicines Agency are encrypted automatically. This minimises the risk that the content of your emails is seen by anyone else than us.
Letters, fax and telephone are also considered secure channels.
If you have any questions about how to submit information securely, please contact our Information Centre.
