Use a secure connection to contact us

If you need to send personal data, such as health data, to the Danish Medicines Agency, we advise you to use a secure connection. Companies sending confidential information are advised to do the same.

Normal email correspondence is not secure.

Digital post

If you wish to send digital post to the Danish Medicines Agency, you must log into e-Boks and click on the following: Menu / Write new mail / Select recipient / Search category – Public authorities - State / Lægemiddelstyrelsen. You can then write to us.

Secure and encrypted form

In order to use the Danish Medicines Agency’s encrypted form, you must either use a digital employee signature or a private NemID code card.

Eudralex for companies

We recommend that pharmaceutical companies use EudraLink to send and receive confidential documents. This is a good solution because the sender and recipient do not need to have a digital signature associated with their email accounts.

Secure emails with NemID

You can send secure emails to the Danish Medicines Agency’s mailbox Send an email by encrypting the emails with NemID. You can read more about encryption of emails at the NemID website and order a certificate for the mailbox you wish to send emails to.

The following mailboxes at the Danish Medicines Agency are secure:

General and cross-cutting inquiries: Send an email 

Medicine reimbursement: Send an email

Compassionate use permits: Send an email

Medical devices: Send an email

Private medicine import: Send an email

Pharmacies: Send an email

Pharmacy financial accounting: Send an email

Letters, fax and telephone are also considered secure channels.
